About the Swedish Automobile Association
The Swedish Automobile Association – M is working to give you an easier and more
economic car
ownership. We try to accomplish this by strengthening public opinion, working against
political mismanagement and also by giving our members the best possible service and exclusive
advantages.
As a member

you receive 10 issues of the club magazine “Motor” per year.

you are entitled to free legal advice on matters related to owning and driving
a private car.

you are entitled to free technical advice on car purchases, car repairs, car
accessories etc.

you get reductions on M car tests performed at our 13 test centres in
Sweden.

you may benefit from the M insurance (Swedish registered cars, home etc) at
favourable rates and conditions.

The free breakdown service “Väghjälp” is included in the additional fee of
SEK 195 per year. Members are entitled to two free services
per year provided that you have a fully comprehensive insurance.

The "M-shop" offers various items at special prices for members – promoted in

can also be ordered and paid for via our homepage.

M-clubs.

abroad and in Sweden.
M is a member of the
FIA (Féderation Internationale de l´Automobile). Members of
the Motormännens Riksförbund can profit from from a number of services offered by the AIT members
in more than 90 countries around the world and may take advantage of a variety of membership
benefits when visiting the various countries.
The annual membership fee is
SEK 415.
Senior members:
SEK 340.
Junior members (up to 25):
SEK 230.

office in central Stockholm, Fridhemsgatan 32, or any of our 14 car testing centres all over
Sweden. We will be happy to assist you and answer your questions. You can also buy the maps and
guides that you need for your trip.
In case of an emergency, we will help you contact your home club or to find
assistance locally.
